Autumn Symbols I had much fun coloring this piece because of all the different symbols and objects. Plus I liked to see Autumn smile for once.

Mary et lacrimas I've always been fond of things that are pretty. My affinity to people usually causes somekind of awkward misunderstanding where I end up feeling ashamed and a little guilty. (Just nod and smile.)

Between Thinking takes too long.

Corner Sincerity I wish I spent more time on this. It looks rushed but I guess it worked out well in the end. I'd like to think I'm always sincere.

Imparfait I'm not quite sure what I was doing here. I guess it was just a mess of mixed feelings. It seems trivial now but it was significant to me at the time.

Angsty Music I was a little stressed out because the angel didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. Oh well, the angel shares my distress.

Pondering Tree Sometimes I think too hard.

Mellon Collie Yes, this is from the cover of the Smashing Pumpkin's Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness CD. I thought I should start out on good terms with this new sketchbook. Ink is good.

The End Balloon No, I'm not over emotional or melodramatic. I'm a very happy-go-lucky person. But I can't pretend every day is a great day, sometimes. I guess my last page ended on a sad note. Please do not attempt reading it. But if you do figure it out, kudos to you.

Spirit Girl I haven't done pencil drawings for some time, so, I drew a pencil... and a girl.

Moon avec Angel Wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with the drawing. I like the moon and I like angels. Je m'appelle Henri. Ceci vous tente?

Where is the music? During my summer vacation my cd player ran out of batteries and I was too lazy to spend some money. I asked random Californians on the street, "Where's the music?" I drew their responses.

Gambit I drew this on an airplane ride to Las Vegas. The coloring is sufficient, even though in the end it became very chaotic. I wish I had more than just earth tone color pens.

Angemon I like angels. I like anime. Somehow I ended up drawing a digimon. (I like my new pens.)

Bird Kiss A random girl kissing a bird... cause girls with birds are cool.

Rakka Fanart from Haibane Renmei. I really liked Rakka's character design and personality. Cross hatching this took long but was fun.

Eva & Gendo I love this scene from End of Evangelion. A lot of ink used, but I think it turned out well.

Gothy A random gothic girl. I wanted to test how well I could add overlapping values with pen. I was somewhat successful.

Pathes of Life I had this dream and it turned into an idea resulting into this. I'm not depressed or anything so don't think to much about the angsty "me" path.

Hooded I was worried if I could create the shadows and hints of the face under the hood. But I think it turned out well. I wish I would have finished the rest, but I'm too lazy. :)

Together I got sick of my angsty depressing images so I made this simple couple.

Skeletons & Angel I don't know why, but I felt like wasting some ink and drawing these dark subjects. I like the angel a lot though.

Lil' girl Another break from dark subject matter. I did this in chemistry so I had no reference for the girl's dress. And I'm a guy, so don't complain if the dress doesn't look right.

His Eye My pen finally is running out of ink, so for its final work I decided to draw an eye. It had more ink than I thought, so I had to add more and more to the eye until it died.

Fallen He looks more asleep than fallen down. I had to use a normal pen because my good one ran out. I ran out of ink for the normal pen by the end of this.
